Recall, the first theme of the virtual school was “Local Philanthropy - An Opportunity for Innovation and Employment”. By developing ideas obtained at the Virtual School of Social Innovation, the Foundation wants to develop the potential that Pula as a city has in its philanthropic story, which will greatly contribute to creating the foundation for future generations for socially responsible behavior and living.
The team created by merging individuals Sandra Domijanić Dravec, Darija Čelić Trajčeski, Aleksandra Paić and Marko Bolković developed the best and winning idea "Feel good house". The idea is to create a multimedia exhibition of the history of Philanthropy in Pula, open a shop, coffee bar, start storytelling tours, launch 3D projections in philanthropic locations and much more that you will learn in the coming period.
In the coming period, Darija, Sandra, Aleksandra and Marko will work on the development of a concrete plan for a social enterprise in cooperation with experts from the Foundation for the Promotion of Partnership and Development of Civil Society, ACT Group and Iconys Agency.
The ideas were scored by a commission consisting of the following experts: Teo Petričević (ACT group), Muamer Mujević (Iconis agency), Kristina Afrić-Rakitovac (FET DR. Mijo Mirković), Manuela Hrvatin (Interpret europe), Sanja Cinkopan Korotaj (TZ Pula) , Andrej Bader (historian), Ranko Rajović (NTC) and Helga Možé (Istria Foundation).
The Virtual School is the first pilot activity of the Regional Center for Social Innovation Development - "ReCeD'Istria", whose web platform is funded by the Project "+ Resilient" from the Interreg Mediterranean 2014-2020 from the European Regional Development Fund and co-financed by the Office for Governmental Organizations The project involves 14 partners from 8 Mediterranean countries, and its goal is to network, connect and transfer knowledge and good practices to encourage and develop social innovation and influence the creation of stronger institutional support at the European level.
