The training deals with the analysis of the social and cultural capital of young people according to data collected in long-term scientific and professional projects throughout Croatia. The most important conclusions about the cultural needs and cultural preferences of young people with regard to the socio-cultural specifics of the respondents and the conclusions related to the trust of young people towards public social actors and institutions will be presented. After reviewing the data, practical ways to address the neuralgic points of the problems faced by young people and ways in which civil and public sector actors can contribute to greater engagement and mobilization of young people in the community will be discussed.
